Con-mitments

The Con-mitments are a tribute to the film and to soul music, playing the classic hits from the film and many more great soul tracks, recreating the Musical Phenomena of the Alan Parker film.

The Bands general line up is a full 9 piece with both strong lead vocals and powerful vocal harmonies, guitar, keyboards, drums, tenor sax and trumpet. The band is also available in a 5/6/7 piece format to suit any size of venue and budget.

This exciting live band have been working professionally for the past seven years in both the U.K. and Europe having played at many prestigious venues and events.

The Conmitments style of music makes them ideal for any venue or occasion, with the classic sounds of the Tamla Motown / Stax era appealing to all ages. They have been in constant demand playing Corporate events, Cruise ships, Outdoor festivals, Hotels, Military Bases, to great acclaim.

The band headlined four of the biggest corporate events in Europe of the past two years, 1999 Palm Beach Casino, Cannes for (Cisco Systems) working with one of the legends of Motown Edwin Starr, Donnington Park for (Toyota Group) Euro Disney (Novell) December 2001 and Barcelona (Novell) May 2002. The band comes complete with their own P.A. and lighting show.
