Tropikal Vizion

Tropikal Vizion is a fully professional Caribbean steel band founded in Birmingham with some of the finest steel pan players in the UK today. The individual musicians' roots lead directly to the tropical islands of Barbados, Jamaica, Dominica, and principally, Trinidad, the home of the steel drum or 'steel pan', arguably the most dynamic new instrument in world music. Available either as a fully instrumental and unplugged acoustic act or as an amplified one with vocals, we will always try to play the right material for you at the right volume whether there are two or twenty members in the band at your event. As comfortable performing on sophisticated ballads as the liveliest of uptempo tunes we boast a broad repertoire that encompasses calypso, soca, reggae, samba, salsa, merengue, cha cha cha, bossa nova, bolero and pop.

Together for the last twenty years, we believe we are now perhaps the best-known steel band on the corporate event circuit having endeared ourselves to the leading party organisers with what we are authoritively told is our exceptional professionalism. Those clients who use us put great faith in our reliability on the strength of the track record we have over the broad variety of work that we've undertaken in the past. Aside from top five-star hotels like the Dorchester and Park Lane Hilton we have successfully played for private parties, weddings, college balls, corporate events, festivals and countless Caribbean theme nights in our time.
