The University of Birmingham has conference and events facilities to suit a wide range of needs. From the magnificent Great Hall with conference seating for up to 1000 people and banqueting for 480, to lecture theatres providing seating capacity for 450 and landscaped grounds that are perfect for marquees.

Catering services are provided by the University’s catering team, ensuring all services are delivered to our customers specification.

For residential events, our year-round Conference Park offers facilities to host your event and meet your accommodation needs. Bed and Breakfast accommodation is available for everyone, whether attending a conference or simply shopping in the city.

During the summer vacation, Shackleton and Elgar Court, our student residences in parkland settings, just a few minutes walk from main campus, provide en-suite accommodation.
